Friday Feast

Who is your favorite news anchor/reporter? Why?
From years ago, I like Jane Pauley: her polish, her independence, and her professionalism. I haven’t read her recent book, Skywriting. I don’t want to burst my bubble of admiration for her.

Name 3 foods that are currently in your freezer.
Steak, Coffee, Wedding Cake

If you were to have the opportunity to name a new town or city, what would you call it?

Main Course
What will most likely be the next book you read?
Probably an audio book borrowed from the local library, as I am recently intrigued by the concept of listening while reading along.

What's the first thing you notice about the opposite gender?
Overall appearance, as in how the package is presented.

Bolthouse Farms *Perfectly Protein*
Vanilla Chai Tea w/soy protein
10 g protein per 8 oz

This high-protein breakfast drink is right tasty, albeit a little sweet. I solved that problem by brewing a cup of plain Chai and combining the two. The bottle contains enough for two quick meals. See more choices at their website.

What is your usual bedtime? Do you like that, or would you rather it be different?

I like to be ready for bed by 9pm and give myself one hour to wind down, so that I’m asleep by 10 pm. It suits my *rhythm.*

When it comes to advice, do you give more or receive more?

It's a fault with me....I give more than I receive

Describe a memorable meal you've had.

Last evening my 79 yo MIL served roast beef w/gravy, mashed potatoes, cold beet salad, and yellow squash. Fresh fruit (strawberries, raspberries, and pineapple) was for dessert. Conversation was delightful and we brought home some leftovers!

Main Course
Name a work of fiction that affected the way you think about something.

Cant think of one right now.

What is your favorite type of fruit juice?

I don’t drink juice. Occasionally I have some V-8 with breakfast.

Most Precious

See all the pretty bottles...various shapes and sizes!

I have been wearing this perfume since I was in highschool. I'm a *one scent* woman. DH fell in love with this fragrance. But Evyan stopped making it in the late 1980s. I called all over trying to find some....even New York. Reluctantly I switched to Tresor by Lancome.

This past Christmas DH gave me a box full of Most Precious! He spent months gathering them up off of Ebay.

I am loved :)

Fashion Find Friday

I havent worn one in the longest while. Years ago I was a big Pappagallo fan with lots of *strips* for their different belt buckles.

I think the way everyone is wearing these larger belts is loads of fun. I keep looking for opportunites to update an existing outfit with this drop-waist over-sized invention. It's slenderizing, too! :)

Here's one I happened upon last fall....it was the only one of its style left on the rack.

Have you succumbed to this fashion trend?

Iditawalk Update

Right on schedule for the 30 mins per day challenge!! Funny how, when I do walk, it's for a minimum of 40 minutes, so if I skip a day, I havent fallen behind. As far as pushing myself, I am pleased to report that I have recorded several 60 and 70 minute walks. I'm afraid there need to be more of those.

Lots of blogger friends are streaking: Donna, Cindy, and Janet. What about you, Carol? or you, Kim?

I'm putting on walking clothes now. It's a rainy day here in Georgia, so I'm going to have to be *ready at the drop of a hat.*
