'Hidden art' is found in the 'minor' areas of life. By 'minor' I (Edith Schaeffer)mean what is involved in the 'everyday' of anyone's life, rather than his career or profession. Each person has some talent which is unfulfilled in some 'hidden area' of his being, and which could be expressed and developed.
Is your cake recipe from the Mitford Series?
ReplyDeleteYes, and no.
ReplyDeleteThere are several Mitford recipes: one with three eggs; one with nine; and one with a cake mix.
I followed the one from the gift book Esther's Gift and made a few changes to that - which I mentioned on my xanga site.
All in all, the cake is very good.... and worthy of a place in my Christmas repetoire.
It doesnt top a fresh coconut, but it comes close.
It would take a LOT to top our coconut cake recipe! :-)
