'Hidden art' is found in the 'minor' areas of life. By 'minor' I (Edith Schaeffer)mean what is involved in the 'everyday' of anyone's life, rather than his career or profession. Each person has some talent which is unfulfilled in some 'hidden area' of his being, and which could be expressed and developed.

I'll bet you look great in your outfit! Will you wear an apron to keep it all neat and clean while you cook your very Southern sounding meal ? :o)
ReplyDeleteHi Donna,
ReplyDeleteYes, of course, I wear an apron! Funny you should ask, though, as I have two favorites: one was given to me by my mother-in-law about twenty years ago, and is in sore need of replacement; the other is just an old dress shirt of my husbands, which is easy to replace and I have.
In regards to your *resolutions* post, I am trying to rationalize....and therefore, am trying to convince myself that I must distinguish between *resolutions* and *wishes/desires*
For example, for years I have thought it would be an easy birthday gift to make each of my sisters an apron. I just love this particular pattern with pockets and no ties. Will this be the year?
As for adding new resolutions, it isnt going to happen. January is such a busy month for me reconciling the previoius year for the accountant and turning in stuff, I need to be careful about adding new things to my lists. And notice what I am doing on New Years Day - working at the office!
