'Hidden art' is found in the 'minor' areas of life. By 'minor' I (Edith Schaeffer)mean what is involved in the 'everyday' of anyone's life, rather than his career or profession. Each person has some talent which is unfulfilled in some 'hidden area' of his being, and which could be expressed and developed.
Dana, I'm wading through Best Poems of the English Language (and got stuck on Milton) - but I think I'm going to move on to Dryden:-)Sometiems the book feels to be too much to fit in my poetry pocket:-)
I remember having to memorize and recite this one, too! Can't think if it was 7th grade English or 9th grade speech class, though.
